From my earliest memories, my mother and father always seemed like a couple in a dance, a dance of life. They loved each other deeply and respected those around them. Their lived their lives as if it made a difference. They tried to pass on their knowledge of life and spiritual matters to their children, even those who were sent away to residential school.

This sculpture shows them in a dance, and around their arms is a series of sixteen circles to represent the number of children they brought into this world.
